A Community Benefit Society like ‘CSN Community Pub Limited’ is run by a Committee. Members of the Committee have a responsibility to keep the campaign moving forwards and most importantly should represent the best interests of the community. These are the Officers and members of the first elected Committee:

A salesman and project manager by trade with a passion for supporting the local community. Dave has lived in Combe for 30 years. The Green Dragon has played a significant role in Dave’s lifetime and he is 100% committed to bringing the pub back to the heart of the village community.

A retired marketing manager, experienced in communication and public relations, full of enthusiasm for the re-opening of the Dragon as a genuine community hub.

A former regular of the Green Dragon and passionate to see it providing a central role in the village once again. Working in the IT sector across sales, product and project management, Mark will bring these skills with absolute enthusiasm to achieve this goal.

A retail area manager, originally from the area now moved back to the village. Cressida is passionate about Saving the Dragon for the community of Combe and beyond.

Sarah works as part of the management team on nights in a care home in Chard, and has worked at The Green Dragon for over 28 years and loved every minute of it. Sarah hopes to open the pub once more for the community of Combe and everyone else who wishes to enjoy good beer, food and a wonderful family-friendly pub.

A resident of Combe for 32 years and a regular user of the green dragon for nearly as long!  Luc volunteered for the steering committee to ensure the pub once again serves the community and becomes the heart of the village.

Shawn Chadwick

A consulting manager in the Engineering IT industry and has lived in Combe for around 23 years and has been a regular visitor to the Dragon for a lot longer. Shawn has agreed to support the steering committee, as he believes the village would be a much better place with a pub. Shawn has had many great times with both family and friends at the pub over the years and would like to see that return.
